  for the enthusiast. On the subject of sports facilities there are many gym and leisure

  and many more activities for children and adults. At this point we cannot forget the
  large YMCA with a full schedule of classes. Horse-riding in Wimbledon is and has
  always been very popular for all ages.

  A recent bonus for Wimbledon, the Merton Leisure Department was awarded money
  to boost watersport facilities in the area (Wimbledon Park Watersports Centre) -
  canoes, jetties and new equipment!
